Currently Arts Society (CAS) presents the fourth edition of our self-made instrument workshop series: “Building Together IV: Synthetic Sounds.”
This edition will focus on electronic instruments and sound sculptures.
Artistic Goals
We will design and build an electronic instrument, or sound object with the support and mentorship of guest facilitator Giorgio Magnanensi and project Lead/Mentor sound and electronic artist Anju Singh, with Anju Singh and instrument builder Roxanne Nesbitt in Co-Lead Researcher roles as part of their larger Building Together research initiative.
The series aims to develop more interest and excitement in instrument building and self-made sound sources for artists across disciplines to use in their projects.
Final works will exhibited and presented in concert at COLLIDE Festival at What Lab on November 28th and November 29th 2026.
