Currently Arts Society (CAS) presents the second edition of our self-made instrument workshop series: “Building Together II: Acoustic Reactions.” Selected artists will work on instrument designs through the month of October 2025 and then will present and share their in-progress designs and projects in an exhibition hosted by Modulus Festival presented by Music on Mon from November 7-10 2025 at The Roundhouse in Vancouver, BC.
The project scope is to design and potentially start to build a sound sculpture, instrument, or sound object with the support and mentorship of experienced instrument builder George Rahi. We hope to develop more interest and excitement in instrument buildings and self-made sound sources for artists across disciplines to use in their projects.
