Our nervous system is constantly sending electrical signals throughout our body and to our brain, making it possible for us to move, think and feel. Ever wonder how that would sound? Inspired by the legendary Cracklebox by Michel Waisvisz, the noisebox uses the conductivity of the human body to generate unpredictable sounds. The workshop provides a hands-on experiment on conductivity, resistance, short circuits and a lot of noise!
This is a hands-on workshop during which participants will build a Noise Box with instrument maker Lisa Simpson.
Please bring a small case or box (wood or plastic) to build into your noise box!
