COLLIDE Festival

COLLIDE Festival highlights experimental art across artistic disciplines. COLLIDE brings boundary-pushing and genre-defying work into a space that encourages artists to “collide” and show work that is in a process/experimental stage. We encourage artists to test new ideas and work with audiences in an environment encouraging experimentation, rather than creating a salable or “presentable” product. The festival makes space for artists to continue their artistic process in the setting of a performance space.

A reminder of the festival guidelines below:
- Works may be in any artistic discipline, and we encourage interdisciplinary works
- Each selected work will be paid an presentation fee of $1,200 per project
- sorry, we cannot cover travel costs, but we are happy to write a letter of invitation should you apply for travel funds
- Performances must be a maximum length of 30 minutes
- Works can be new works or previous works in progress
