COLLIDE II – A Festival of Experimental Art

The second edition of Currently Arts Society (CAS)’s COLLIDE Festival is here!
Edition II highlights experimental art across artistic disciplines, and brings forward a focus on experimenting with instrument design and sound sculpture for projects that have been conceived, and created through the CAS ongoing “Building Together” series. COLLIDE II brings interdisciplinary and boundary-pushing work into a space that encourages artists to “COLLIDE” and show experiments, projects, and performances in process. We support artists to test new ideas and continue their artistic process in the setting of a performance space.
COLLIDE Festival highlights experimental art across artistic disciplines. COLLIDE brings boundary-pushing and genre-defying work into a space that encourages artists to “collide” and show work that is in a process/experimental stage. We encourage artists to test new ideas and work with audiences in an environment encouraging experimentation, rather than creating a salable or “presentable” product. The festival makes space for artists to continue their artistic process in the setting of a performance space.
